Housed within a 42mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal and a signed crown situated at 12 o’clock, the M.A.D. 1 Red looks like a ‘bullhead’ watch on steroids…from the future! Featuring a brushed, red outer dial plate, a luminous, triple-axle rotor, and luminous, black and red vertical rotating time displays on the case flanks, it’s quite simply unlike almost any other time-telling device you’ve likely come across before — especially one that can be worn on the wrist. Incredibly, it’s powered by the commonplace (and highly modified) automatic Miyota 821A movement, and comes affixed to a black leather and fabric strap with red stitching and a signed, stainless steel deployant clasp.
